• cortex-harness-open: the open protocol, schema, and reference tooling for running work as small, testable Blocks. Apache-2.0. Docs at cortexharness.org.
• cortex-loop: the swarm-node heartbeat engine (git ledger, clock, lease, tick). A model may propose or veto work; it may not approve completion. Apache-2.0.
• cortex-loop-demo: one loop tick in the browser — propose, check, try-complete (synthetic ledger).

Building in public — and fighting for survival

We are building Cortex / Layer 4 in public. The same founder also runs MossRiver, a kids sleepwear and baby clothing brand currently under heavy inventory and cash pressure — not turned around yet. We are using this stack day to day to fight for survival: agents listen to customers, update pages, and verify every change on the live site.

Where we came from

Before CORTEX, this team built mobfish.ai, an early fashion GPT, and mobfusion, a config-driven training framework on top of diffusers. Older fashion models and datasets stay here for reference only — the primary story now is Cortex.
